Brave Sis Project

Speaking and Podcasts
Rozella supports employee resource groups (ERGs), philanthropic and nonprofit groups, and others in designing successful diversity and inclusion planning, equitable praxis, and cultures of belonging and mattering. From customized book events and webinars based on her Nautilus Award-winning book Our Brave Foremothers to more deeply embedded advisory, she specializes in the power of story and co-creation to unleash problem-solving and build Belonging and Mattering.
Current and recent clients and user groups include the Gates Foundation ERG, Amazon Sustainability ERG, the University of New Mexico faculty group, and Opportunity Collaboration. Kennedy has built a suite of topics for keynotes, guest speaking, workshops, and media (podcasts), such as:
- Five flubs to avoid saying and doing when building relationships across cultural, racial, and ethnic difference
- We cannot change what we don’t see: Considering privilege, power, and hidden bias as deterrents to cross-racial and cultural collaboration
- Why “niceness” is not enough: how sneaky norms such as tone-policing, stereotyping, and white savior complex impede trust
- Cultivating Your V O I C E (Values, Overview of history, Interpersonal skill set, Care, and compassion, and Enthusiasm) around intersectional feminism, storytelling for change, and de-centering default whiteness narratives
