I find that organizations with strong internal communications and cultures of respect, inclusion, and belonging accomplish their missions more effectively. When everybody's aligned, the work is focused and impactful. You don't squander emotional and physical labor or money on the wrong kind of learning — or being. Learn about my writing, teaching, and speaking here and about my faciliation and advisory at GoEquitably.com.
I've created a unique tool to guide your self-growth: an eleven-module self-paced course entitled Allies, Advocates, Co-Conspirators, Friends, Sisters: A Playbook for Leading, Learning, and Liberation. In your private space and time, you'll explore the complexities of and possibilities in building authentic collaborations, relationships, and—yes—even friendships across race, culture, ethnicity, and class. I leverage the inspirational stories of Brave Foremothers as a tool to unleash problem-solving and build Belonging and Mattering through customized book events and webinars based on my Nautilus Award-winning book Our Brave Foremothers and/or other BIPOC she-roes with a Q&A/breakout session directed towards specific topics of pertinence to your team.
I also work with a select client base to co-design print and digital content and messaging that is culturally adept, inclusive, and forward-facing, to help drive solutions to the many challenges of our time.

At the core of my work as a creative leader and influencer is an ardent commitment to centering diversity, inclusion, equity, and justice as essential operationalizers of individual growth and systems change, and finding ways to help colleagues and clients build authentic, heartfelt, and generative practices to sustain these shifts.
I strive to apply my principled, inclusive, and results-driven approach in ways that are engaging, responsive, and supportive. This practice draws from a variety of sources: from business and organizational tomes, DEI “classics,” to the ISO standard for Diversity and Inclusion, psychology, popular culture, self-help, and — unique to this practice — the stories of BIPOC women leaders in history as cornerstones for intersectional celebration and de-centering of default whiteness narratives and monocultural hegemony.
Merging praxis and personality, I guide learners and clients through the blind spots, legacy biases, and social complexities that impede belonging and strong collaboration. Learn more about my facilitation and consulting practice at GoEquitably.com
